Flare Free Remoulade Sauce Recipe

We made Creole Breakfast Bowls in Week 9 of The Flare Free Meal Prep Solution (my 6-week, self-paced meal prep course) and as promised, I wanted to give my students a bonus sauce recipe you can use throughout the week to fancy-up your breakfast bowls so you don't get bored of them!


Additional things you can add to these bowls to liven them up throughout the week:


•Ripe avocado


•Sauteed baby spinach


•Lemon massaged kale


•Cajun shrimp


FLARE FREE REMOULADE SAUCE (c=cup; t=teaspoon; T=tablespoon)

Serves 4


INGREDIENTS:


1/4 c soy-free vegenaise (or any other good-quality mayo you like the taste of like Primal Kitchen or Chosen Avocado Oil Mayo)

1/2 small lemon, juiced

1 t garlic powder

1 t onion powder

1 t organic paprika

1 1/2 T unsweetened almond milk

Sea salt and black pepper to taste

Optional: cayenne pepper to taste


INSTRUCTIONS:


1.) Place all ingredients in a small bowl and mix to combine.


2.) Season to taste with salt and pepper and cayenne pepper if using, then taste and adjust by adding more of anything you'd like to taste more of.


Drizzle over Creole Breakfast Bowls or anything else you'd like to enjoy this sauce with, and serve!
