Homemade habanero sriracha using frozen (and thawed) habanero peppers + sun gold cherry tomatoes from our fall garden! We have a deep freezer full of chilis and tomatoes so we can pull out what we need to make more hot sauce throughout the winter.
SUGAR FREE HABANERO SRIRACHA RECIPE
3-4 c of habanero peppers (or any chili peppers you like)
3-4 c of sungold cherry tomatoes
3 carrots, sliced
1 head of garlic, cloves peeled
Vinegar (about 3-4 c)
Raw honey (about 1 T)
Sea salt (about 1 T)
Place first four ingredients in a medium saucepan and cover with vinegar. Season to taste with honey and salt then boil until tender. Puree until smooth then store in a squeeze bottle or mason jar + put that sh** on everything!
