All the Tips + Tricks You Learned in Boot Camp in One Place!

Thanks to everyone who showed up for the live workshops in my free 4 day Meal Prep Boot Camp! I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with you each day!!

Soooo much valuable information was shared, I wanted to to do a recap blog post that you can refer to at any time!

If you registered for Boot Camp and haven't watched the replays of the videos I sent via email, please do so before I take them down Sunday, June 18th at 2 PM.

TIPS FOR PACKAGING + REHEATING YOUR MEALS LIKE A PRO:

  1. Let your meals cool completely before packaging.

  2. Add a splash of water and/or a spray of oil to dishes that seize up/harden/congeal upon cooling.

  3. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes or cover with a wet paper towel and microwave until reconstituted.

  4. If it has a crust on it or it's something you don't want to steam, lay it out in an even layer on a sheet tray and bake until it's done then crisp it up under the broiler at the very end.

  5. Garnish, garnish, garnish! Pretty food just hits different.

SPEEDY COOKING TIPS:

  1. Nearly everything can be spread out onto a sheet tray and cooked in the broiler in 20 minutes or less.

  2. Take help from the grocery store! Utilize all the pre-chopped veggies you can find!

  3. Start by cooking easy-to-execute, quick-cooking recipes you know by heart.

TIME SAVING MEAL PREP TIPS:

  1. Order your groceries online the day before you plan to meal prep.

  2. Set up your kitchen in the most effienct way.

  3. Mis en place before you cook.

  4. Start with an empty and ready-to-use dishwasher, fridge and garbage can.

  5. Stay organized as you cook so clean up is quick.

TIPS FOR GETTING THE WHOLE FAMILY ON BOARD:

  1. Don't tell anyone the food you've made is Flare Free until after they say they like it.

  2. Get your kids involved in the menu planning and meal prepping process.

  3. Try this mantra: "East as much or as little as you'd like but try everything once."

  4. Set boundaries. Snacks immediately after your child chose to not eat much on their plate ain't gonna fly.

  5. Get your partner on board. Make sure the message you are sending is the same so there's clarity and consistency around meal times!

  6. Take the emotion out of it. Stop shaming kids for not eating what you want them to eat. And stop being so offended when they don't like what you fix.

WANT TO DIVE DEEPER? AND PUT ALL THESE TIPS TO WORK IN REAL TIME WITH LIVE GROUP COACHING + ACCOUNTABILITY?!

Tomorrow I'll be announcing the new membership tier I've created for you inside the Flare Free Cooking Academy that will teach you how to meal prep in real time in a motivational group setting so you can finally start to use food as medicine consistently with ease.

It's time to put yourself first and I now have the program that will provide the instruction, motivation, inspiration and accountability you need to make it happen!

No cooking skills are required. All you have to be able to do each week is order groceries online and organize your groceries by recipe according to your meal prep packet!

All will be revealed tomorrow.

Until then, if you registered for Boot Camp, don't forget to take advantage of that pre-sale opportunity that we talked about! I have 10 spaces left!
