FLARE FREE ONE POT GOULASH
INGREDIENTS:
12 oz. organic brown rice pasta (whatever shape you like)
1 lb. organic or pastured ground turkey
1/2 organic bell pepper
1/2 container diced onion
6 lg. peeled cloves of garlic
Handful of chopped organic kale, minced
28 oz. organic crushed tomatoes
~15 oz. filtered water
2-3 T organic soy-free cultured vegan butter
Garlic powder to taste
Onion powder to taste
Fine sea salt and finely ground black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS:
1.) Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add oil then cook ground turkey with salt and pepper until browned on all sides.
2.) Add onions and bell peppers and cook until tender. Add garlic and cook until aromatic. Stir in 28 oz. of crushed tomatoes and 15 oz. of water. Season to taste with salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder and bring to a boil.
3.) Add pasta and mix to combine then bring to a gentle boil. Add kale and cook, stirring often, until pasta is a little more al dente than you would usually want it to be. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed then remove from heat and let cool.
4.) Package and refrigerate then reheat in a hot pan coated with oil with a splash of water to reconstitute and serve once you’ve reached your desired texture.
