About the event

A six week course that meets once a week (Saturdays at 2 pm CST) for six weeks to teach you the basics of cooking Flare Free. 

This week's topic is: gluten free grains!

Come learn how to cook quinoa, brown rice, millet, gluten free pasta, and how to use various gluten free flours. 

MENU: 

Seaonal Quinoa Salad

Millet Cakes

Brown Rice Pilaf

Tuna Casserole

Techniques: grain cooking, vinaigrette, binders, searing, sauteeing, steaming, gluten free pasta method, gluten free sauce thickeners, using a food processor, baking, seasoning to taste, garnishing
